- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C) and grease a bundt or loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with milk.
- Stir in the vanilla extract until fully combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use buttermilk instead of whole milk. Serve with fresh fruit or a dusting of powdered sugar.
