- 2 cups diced apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix diced apples, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until well combined.
- Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut it into equal squares or desired shapes.
- Place a spoonful of the caramel apple filling in the center of each pastry square.
- Fold the pastry over the filling and seal the edges by pressing with a fork.
- Whisk the egg with 1 tablespoon of water to create an egg wash, then brush over the pastry.
- Sprinkle granulated sugar on top for extra crispness.
- Bake for 18-22 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
