  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, freshly shredded
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  • ¼ cup cream cheese, softened (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, grated (for topping)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for topping)
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined. Let rest for 5 minutes.
  2. Unroll the pizza dough onto a lightly floured surface and stretch into a 12×14 inch rectangle. Let rest if it springs back.
  3. Spread about ¾ of the garlic butter mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a ½-inch border around the edges.
  4. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan evenly over the dough. Drop spoonfuls of cream cheese throughout if using. Press lightly.
  5. Roll the dough tightly from the long edge into a log. Slice into 12–14 rolls about 1 inch thick. Arrange in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  6. Brush the tops with remaining garlic butter and sprinkle with 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 18–22 minutes until golden and bubbly. Check at 15 minutes.
  8. Remove from oven, sprinkle with parsley and red pepper flakes if desired. Let rest for 3–5 minutes before serving.

Notes
