Ingredients
Scale
- 2 ripe bananas, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp olive oil or melted coconut oil
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Peel the bananas and slice them thinly (about 1/8 inch thick) for the perfect chip texture.
- In a small bowl, mix the olive oil or coconut oil, sugar, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt.
- Toss the banana slices in the mixture, ensuring each slice is evenly coated.
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C). Arrange the banana slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket (you may need to cook in batches).
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
- Remove the banana chips from the air fryer and let them cool completely on a wire rack. They will crisp up as they cool.
- Enjoy your banana chips as a snack or topping for yogurt, oatmeal, or ice cream!
Notes
For an extra indulgent twist, drizzle some honey or chocolate over the banana chips before serving!
