A rich and creamy skillet chicken dish inspired by the famous Texas Roadhouse butter, packed with bold flavors and a buttery finish.

- 2 chicken breasts, cut into small pieces
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ cup heavy cream
- ¼ cup chicken broth
- ½ teaspoon dried thyme
- ½ teaspoon dried parsley
- ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Season chicken pieces with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Add chicken to the skillet and cook until golden brown and fully cooked, about 6-8 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter and stir in heavy cream and chicken broth.
- Simmer for 2-3 minutes, then add dried thyme, dried parsley, and Parmesan cheese.
- Stir until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
- Return cooked chicken to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
- Simmer for another 2 minutes until everything is heated through.
- Serve hot, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
Notes
For an extra kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes.
