Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine grated cabbage, chopped onion, flour, salt, and pepper.
- Add the lightly beaten eggs and mix until all ingredients are well coated and the mixture holds together.
- Heat a cast-iron skillet over medium heat and add oil or butter to coat the bottom.
- Spoon small portions of the cabbage mixture into the skillet, pressing each one slightly to form a patty.
- Cook for about 3-4 minutes per side or until golden brown and crispy on the edges.
- Remove the patties from the skillet and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce, sour cream, or a sprinkle of fresh herbs.
Notes
