  • Author: Erin
  • Total Time: 40-45 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Description

This Easy Sheet Pan Shrimp Boil brings the flavors of a coastal seafood boil to your kitchen with minimal effort. Juicy shrimp, smoky andouille sausage, tender potatoes, and sweet corn are roasted together with Old Bay seasoning for a one-pan feast that’s perfect for weeknight dinners or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound baby Dutch yellow potatoes (or red potatoes)
  • 3 ears corn, each cut crosswise into 6 pieces
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted (or olive oil for dairy-free)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning (or Cajun seasoning)
  • 1 pound medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 (12.8-ounce) package smoked andouille sausage, thinly sliced
  • 1 lemon, cut into wedges
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley leaves

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Oven and Prep Work: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly oil a large rimmed baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Parboil the Potatoes and Corn: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add potatoes and boil for 5-8 minutes, then add corn and cook for another 5 minutes. Drain thoroughly.
  3. Create Your Flavor Base: In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, and Old Bay seasoning. Stir until well incorporated.
  4. Assemble Your Sheet Pan: Arrange parboiled potatoes, corn, shrimp, and sliced sausage on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer. Pat shrimp dry to ensure proper browning.
  5. Season Everything Generously: Pour the butter mixture over the ingredients. Toss gently to coat evenly.
  6. Bake to Perfection: Bake for 12-15 minutes until shrimp are opaque, corn is tender, and potatoes have slightly crisp edges. For extra caramelization, broil for 1-2 minutes at the end.
  7. Finish and Serve: Remove from oven, squeeze lemon wedges over the dish, and sprinkle with fresh parsley. Serve directly from the sheet pan or transfer to a platter.

Notes

For extra flavor, add lemon zest to the butter mixture. Ensure shrimp are patted dry before adding to the pan to prevent steaming instead of roasting. Serve with additional lemon wedges for brightness.
