Description

Ingredients

  • 250g packet gingernut biscuits, halved
  • 395g can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Line a baking tin with parchment paper.
  2. Crush the gingernut biscuits into fine crumbs.
  3. Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat.
  4. Stir in brown sugar and condensed milk, cooking until smooth and slightly thickened.
  5. Press the crushed biscuits into the lined tin.
  6. Pour the caramel mixture over the biscuit base and smooth it out.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set.
  8. Cut into slices and enjoy!

Notes

For extra crunch, you can leave some biscuit pieces slightly larger. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
