Description
A simple and delicious ginger caramel slice made with just four ingredients: gingernut biscuits, condensed milk, brown sugar, and butter.
Ingredients

- 125g butter, chopped
- 250g packet gingernut biscuits, halved
- 395g can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup brown sugar
Instructions
- Line a baking tin with parchment paper.
- Crush the gingernut biscuits into fine crumbs.
- Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat.
- Stir in brown sugar and condensed milk, cooking until smooth and slightly thickened.
- Press the crushed biscuits into the lined tin.
- Pour the caramel mixture over the biscuit base and smooth it out.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set.
- Cut into slices and enjoy!
Notes
For extra crunch, you can leave some biscuit pieces slightly larger. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
