Ingredients

  • 1 can crushed pineapple, drained well
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1 tsp seasoning salt
  • 1 tsp lemon pepper seasoning
  • 2 cups chopped pecans (reserve 1/2 cup for mixing, use the rest for coating)
  • Assorted crackers (Ritz, wheat thins, or pita chips)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the mixture: In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, drained pineapple, green onions, green pepper, seasoning salt, lemon pepper, and 1/2 cup of chopped pecans.
  2. Shape the cheeseball: Mix thoroughly and shape into a ball.
  3. Coat with pecans: Roll the cheeseball in the remaining chopped pecans until fully coated.
  4. Chill: Wrap the cheeseball in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow flavors to meld.
