  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 8 ounces pasta (penne or spaghetti)
  • Fresh chopped parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet or pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat and set the beef aside.
  2. In the same skillet, melt the butter. Add the garlic and onion, cooking until fragrant and softened, about 2-3 minutes. Stir in the Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Pour in the beef broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
  4. Add the pasta to the skillet, ensuring it’s submerged in the liquid. Cover and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is al dente (about 10-12 minutes).
  5. Once the pasta is cooked, stir in the Parmesan cheese and cooked beef. Continue stirring until the sauce is creamy and coats the pasta evenly.
  6. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh chopped parsley. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For extra richness, add a splash of white wine while cooking the garlic. Swap ground beef for ground turkey or sausage for a different twist!
