Description

A delicious Reuben Crescent Bake with layers of flaky crescent dough, savory corned beef, melted Swiss cheese, and tangy sauerkraut, perfect for any occasion!


Ingredients

  • 2 (8 oz) cans crescent roll dough
  • ¾ lb sliced corned beef, chopped
  • 8 oz Swiss cheese, sliced or shredded
  • 1 cup sauerkraut, drained well
  • ½ cup Thousand Island dressing
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon caraway seeds (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Unroll one can of crescent dough and press it into the bottom of the prepared dish, sealing any perforations.
  3. Spread half of the Thousand Island dressing over the dough.
  4. Layer corned beef, Swiss cheese, and sauerkraut evenly over the dough.
  5. Drizzle the remaining dressing over the sauerkraut.
  6. Unroll the second can of crescent dough and place it over the top, sealing the edges.
  7. Brush the top with beaten egg and melted butter.
  8. Sprinkle with caraway seeds if desired.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For extra crispiness, bake uncovered for the last 5 minutes.
