Ingredients

Scale

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup cooked white rice
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 cups crushed Hot Cheetos
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions

Instructions:

  1. In a large skillet, sauté the onions and garlic over medium heat until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
  2. Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart as it cooks. Season with cayenne pepper, paprika, black pepper, and salt. Cook until browned, about 8-10 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the cooked rice. Let the mixture cool slightly.
  4. Form the beef and rice mixture into 1-inch balls.
  5. In separate bowls, place the beaten eggs, breadcrumbs, and crushed Hot Cheetos.
  6. Dip each boudin ball into the beaten eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs, and finally roll them in the crushed Hot Cheetos.
  7. Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet or fryer to 350°F (175°C). Fry the boudin balls in batches for about 3-4 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
  8. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra spice, you can add a few dashes of hot sauce to the beef mixture.
