Description
Tuna Stuffed Deviled Eggs are a protein-packed twist on the classic appetizer. Creamy, flavorful, and satisfying, they’re the perfect bite-sized snack for parties, brunches, or meal prep!
Ingredients
Scale
- 6 large eggs
- 1 can (5 oz) tuna, drained
- 3 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp chopped green onions
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Paprika, for garnish
Instructions
- Hard-Boil the Eggs: Place eggs in a saucepan, cover with water, and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, remove from heat, cover, and let sit for 10–12 minutes. Transfer to an ice bath for 5 minutes for easy peeling.
- Prepare the Egg Halves: Peel eggs carefully and slice in half lengthwise. Scoop out yolks into a mixing bowl. Set egg whites on a serving tray.
- Make the Filling: Mash yolks until smooth. Add tuna, mayo, mustard, lemon juice, and green onions. Stir until creamy and season with salt and pepper.
- Fill the Egg Whites: Spoon or pipe the tuna mixture into each egg white half, slightly mounded.
- Garnish & Serve: Sprinkle with paprika and extra green onions if desired. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to enjoy.
Notes
Meal Prep Tip: Make the filling ahead of time and store separately. Assemble just before serving for best texture! Add-ins: Try diced celery or pickles for a crunch twist.
